Eagle Flex students are here most days — on campus at Lincoln Middle/High School, with their teachers and friends, following the regular daily schedule. Their coursework runs on an online curriculum they complete at school, which builds in real flexibility for family and student needs throughout the year. All the in-person experiences of Lincoln — band, art, the weight room, Friday-night lights — with room to flex when life calls for it.

Eagle Flex is a flexible option — but most of it happens on campus. Students attend in person on the Lincoln MS/HS daily schedule, completing their online coursework while at school alongside their in-person classes and activities. Because the curriculum is online, the program can flex around family and student needs throughout the year without your student falling behind.

Eagle Flex students are here in person following the regular Lincoln MS/HS daily schedule based on their 5 classes – with their teachers, classmates, and the full campus experience.

Every student is paired with a Lincoln mentor teacher who tracks progress, gives specific feedback, and steps in early when something’s not clicking.

Because coursework runs on an online curriculum, Eagle Flex can flex around appointments, family needs, and opportunities throughout the year — without your student falling behind. Every Western Wayne student receives a Chromebook.

Eagle Flex students are full members of Lincoln, with access to sports, clubs, and everything that comes with being part of the Golden Eagle community.
Sports, clubs & activities
Try out, compete, and represent Lincoln in athletics (per IHSAA eligibility) and in co-curriculars and extra-curriculars like band, art, robotics, and theatre (per each program’s guidelines) — just like every other Golden Eagle.

Same graduation pathways, same standards, same diploma. Colleges and employers see Lincoln — because that’s exactly what it is.
Transportation provided
In-district Eagle Flex students can ride to and from campus on regularly scheduled morning and afternoon routes — the same as any Western Wayne student.

Questions parents ask
Is this a real Lincoln High School diploma?
Yes. Eagle Flex students are enrolled members of Lincoln and graduate with a Lincoln High School diploma under the same standards and pathways as any other student.
Can my child play sports or join activities?
Yes. Eagle Flex students participate fully — sports (per IHSAA eligibility) and co-curriculars and extra-curriculars like band, art, robotics, and theatre (per each program’s guidelines).
How often does my child come to campus?
Most days. Eagle Flex students attend in person following the Lincoln Middle/High School daily schedule for start and end times. Because coursework is delivered through an online curriculum, families may request scheduling flexibility for approved circumstances — appointments, family needs, travel, or unique opportunities — while students keep up with coursework so they don’t fall behind. We build the schedule with you to be sure your student meets the learning objectives while getting the flexibility your family needs.
Is transportation provided?
Yes, for in-district students — to and from campus on regularly scheduled morning and afternoon routes. Eagle Flex is open to in-district, out-of-district, and homeschool families; transportation is provided for in-district students.
Is a device included?
Yes. Every Western Wayne student — Traditional, Eagle Flex, and Virtual Academy — receives a Chromebook at no cost.
Does it cost anything?
No. Eagle Flex is a tuition-free public school program of Western Wayne Schools, open to Indiana students. Out-of-district students enroll tuition-free during open-enrollment windows set by Western Wayne and the Indiana Department of Education, and reapply each school year.
