On-Campus, Structured Daily Schedule: Students are required to take a minimum of five classes in-person at Lincoln Middle/High School. One of these five periods may be an SRT period. Eagle Flex students are required to report to campus each school day and follow the regular Lincoln bell schedule.
Blended Curriculum Delivery: Coursework is completed online using the Subject.com platform, but students benefit from immediate, in-person support from Indiana-licensed Lincoln teachers.
Standard Attendance & School Policies: Because students are physically on campus, standard middle/high school attendance policies apply in full (including standard absence limits and tardy rules), along with campus cell phone policies.
Full On-Campus Experience: Hybrid students are recognized as Lincoln "Golden Eagles," giving them direct access to in-person school counselors, athletic participation (under IHSAA rules), school clubs, and social events like dances.
Lincoln High School Diploma: Students progress through an accredited curriculum that fulfills Indiana graduation requirements and culminates in a traditional Lincoln High School diploma.
Fully Online, Flexible Environment: Students complete their coursework from home or any off-campus location, offering a highly flexible, full-time virtual learning environment.
Self-Paced Learning Platform: Students work independently through the standards-aligned Subject.com platform, with remote grading, instruction, and academic support from Lincoln teachers, mentors, and counselors.
Engagement-Based Attendance: Physical attendance is not recorded; instead, students must log in daily and are expected to spend 3 to 4 hours per school day actively working on coursework.
Specific Weekly Progress Targets: To remain in good standing, virtual students must meet structured accountability thresholds each week, including demonstrating at least 25% progress in each course, initiating/replying to two StudentSquare communications with staff, and completing a scheduled mentor check-in.
In-Person Requirements & Extracurricular Access: Virtual students must come to the Lincoln campus for mandatory, securely proctored state testing. However, they retain full eligibility for all Lincoln athletic programs, clubs, counseling services, and graduate with a Lincoln High School diploma.
